PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Be Safe, Be Kind, Be Proud and Have a GREAT Cardinal Day!
Happy Summertime! We are getting closer to the start of the school year and we are so excited to see our Cardinals! I hope everyone is enjoying their summer break and that everyone is able to find a way to cool off during the hot days! Below are a few of the social media posts and calendar dates for when we return to the new school year! In the meantime, we hope everyone will continue to make as many wonderful summer memories as possible and we look forward to seeing our Carnelian staff, students and families very soon in August! Families will be able to see who their child's teacher is for the 24-25 school year by checking the Parent Portal after 4:00 p.m. on Friday, August 2nd.
Registration for the 2024-2025 school year is open. If you or anyone you know needs to register a new student for next school year, they can go onto the District website and start the enrollment process now. Once enrollment has started, families can come to the school office, which is now open Monday - Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The week of July 21st, the front parking lot is being slurried, so families will need to park in the North (back) parking lot and walk through the campus to access the school office this week. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Letters are being sent home to families to indicated whether they are in the A.M. or P.M. class for TK or Kindergarten next school year. Along with our new students and families coming to Carnelian, we also have many new staff members joining our Carnelian team this school year. We will send out information to introduce our newest staff next week before the start of school. Here at Carnelian, we want everyone in our community to "Be Safe, Be Kind, Be Proud and have a GREAT Cardinal Day"!
