We hope that you find Banyan to be an exciting place where students enjoy attending.  We strive to create an environment where families feel welcome and enjoy participating in our many events.

Banyan provides a warm, stimulating environment where students are actively involved in learning academics, as well as, positive values.  Students receive a standards-based, challenging curriculum by dedicated professional staff and based on the individual needs of the students.  Ongoing evaluation of student progress and achievement helps us refine the instructional program so students can achieve academic proficiency.

We continue to be committed to providing the best educational program possible for all students and welcome any suggestions or questions you may have about the information contained on this website or about the school.  Together, through our hard work, our students will be challenged to reach their maximum potential.

PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Dear Banyan families,

This year has been a busy one but there is much to celebrate at Banyan Elementary School.  We continue to work hard to provide our students and families a rich and rewarding educational experience.  

One thing to highlight this year is our dedication to provide all students the skills they need to be successful.  Our teachers work tirelessly to find ways to meet students where they are at and provide them with both remedial and enrichment opportunities.  Our WIN Time (What I Need) is in full swing and teachers are working with students in small groups to enhance their learning.  

As we look ahead, we hope to continue the strides we are committed to in order to accelerate learning.  We are dedicated to providing students the best educational experience possible.  We are so thankful to the Banyan community who continually support and participate in their student’s education.  

We look forward to continuing the journey this year.  We know the second trimester will prove to be a successful one.
